Jamal Lowe has been crowned League One’s PFA player of the month for August.
The Pompey winger beat Sunderland’s Josh Maja into second place in the vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media.
Lowe, who scored three goals and weighed in with three assists for the Blues last month, romped to victory with 51 per cent of the votes cast.
The award, which is sponsored by Bristol Street Motors, was the third divisional poll carried out over the past seven days on social media.
Maja was second with 29 per cent of the vote, while Barnsley’s Dimitri Cavare claimed 10 per cent.
Peterborough trio Jason Cummings, Siriki Dembele and Matt Godden completed the list of contenders.
