In his five matches in August, the forward scored three goals and registered two assists.
He netted a double in Pompey's 2-1 victory at Blackpool and a late winner in the 2-1 success at Bristol Rovers.Â
The Irishman's assist for Jamal Lowe in the Blues' 1-0 opening-day defeat of Luton also proved crucial.Â
