Portsmouth fans deliver verdict on owners' transfer stance
Ahead of the January transfer window resumption, the Blues board member and Tornante president insists the club won't concentrate any transfer kitty on a single big-money signing.

Obviously budgets will have to increase a bit as we go up through the divisions, but no need to go crazy on huge transfers and contracts.
I'd rather see money pumped into our youth system and get it Category 1 standard.

Sensible and the right stance to have. No player is bigger than the club and we never want to return to those dark days again where we nearly died!

Well to stay in Championship we will need some quality and wages will increase. Money we haven't got.
At some point the owner will have to spend some money on players, we can't grow a Premier League team.
