They haven't been able to attend a game since a 2-2 draw with Fleetwood on March 10. Last season was curtailed and the table decided via a points-per-game formula amid the coronavirus crisis, while all fixtures so far this term have been played behind closed doors.

But with Portsmouth placed in tier two Covid restrictions after the second national lockdown ended, it means 2,000 spectators can attend sporting events outdoors.

Tickets for this weekend’s clash against promotion-rivals Peterborough initially went on sale to flexi-season ticket holders in groups C and M – as well as members in group three yesterday.

There were some remaining tickets on a first come, first serve basis available this morning but they’ve all been purchased.

Fans will be sat in the Fratton End, North Stand and Milton End for the game. Social distance, hand santising and wearing masks when not sat down are all required for those who attend.
