Pompey travel to The Valley on Monday night as they take on Charlton in League One.

After Tuesday’s south-coast derby win in the Hampshire Cup against Southampton, Danny Cowley’s men have now turned their attention back to league matters.

The Blues are without a win in their past three outings in the third tier and are looking to regain the impressive form seen at the start of the campaign.

They take on the Addicks, who currently sit 11th in the league after an inconsistent start under Ben Garner.

It does promise to be an exciting contest in south London, with both sides looking to find much-needed momentum.

Yet, the Fratton faithful will have to wait a few days longer to see their side in action after the game was moved to Monday, October 17.

Here’s all the key details ahead of the contest.

What time is kick-off?

However, unlike regular midweek fixtures, the contest will instead start at the later time of 8pm.

Is it on Sky Sports?

The game was selected for television broadcasting by Sky Sports as one of their three selected League One fixtures for October.

This will see Cowley’s side in action on their Main Event and Football channels on Monday evening.

Coverage is set to get under way from 7.30pm ahead of the 8pm kick-off, with post-match reaction set to run until 10.30pm.

If supporters don’t have access, they will be able to purchase Sky Sports for one month with a one-time payment for just £11.98 via Now TV.

Is it on Ifollow?

The match isn’t available to watch on Ifollow for UK residents after the game was selected for British television coverage.

Instead, supporters can listen to the action with an individual match pass for £2.50.

For overseas fans, the tie is still available to watch through the EFL’s dedicated streaming service.

Pompey fans have been given an allocation of 2,500 in the upper-tier of the Jimmy Seed Stand.

Of course, should supporters be unable to attend The Valley or watch the game on Sky Sports, The News will, as always, be providing a dedicated blog covering all the action from south London.
