Coventry v Portsmouth: team news, match odds, key stats and form guides ahead of St Andrew's clash
Pompey travel to St Andrew’s to face Coventry tonight looking for a 10th win in a row.
But standing in their way is a fellow promotion rival who boast a solitary defeat on home soil all season.
Here’s all you need to know ahead of a game that sees two teams sitting fourth and fifth in League One respectively go head to head (7.45pm).
Coventry team news
Coventry could be without joint-top scorer and former Pompey target Matt Godden when they play host to the Blues on Tuesday night.
The hosts might also have key defender Kyle McFadazean absent after he came off in the 89th minute of Saturday’s 2-1 win over Bolton with a groin injury.
However, Callum O’Hare will be available for selection despite suffering a horror head injury in the second half of the victory over the Trotters.
Pompey team news
Andy Cannon will miss Pompey’s game against Coventry in League One.
He’ll not be part of the squad that travels to Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s stadium for the fourth v fifth meeting after picking up a glute problem in training last week.
The attacking midfielder sat out Saturday’s trip to Tranmere after starting the Blues’ past three games.
However, with the 23-year-old expected to report back to traning on Thursday, he could be available for Saturday’s home game against Shrewsbury.
Striker Oli Hawkins will be back for the trip to the Sky Blues, though.
The giant front man picked up a head injury in last week’s reserves trip to Exeter but is deemed fit enough to be considered for the Coventry game.
