Highly-touted international teenager pays tribute to Portsmouth after departure

The Croatia under-18 international keeper has paid tribute to the Blues, following his departure by mutual consent at the start of the month.

Durin signed from Italian side Atalanta in 2018 and was touted as a bright hope for the future.

The 18-year-old endured a tough season, however, including a difficult six-game loan spell with non-league Bognor.

Durin had nothing but positive things to say about his experience at Fratton Park, however.

In a post on Twitter, he said: ‘I didn't get the chance to thank @Pompey for my time with the club.

‘I enjoyed every second of it and I hope to see the club back to where it belongs soon. Good luck for the future #pompey.’
