The partnership of John Marquis and Marcus Harness have fired on all cylinders since Kenny Jackett made the decision to a 4-4-2 formation that’s bearing fruit.
Marquis is starting to look the player he did at Doncaster where he forged a reputation as one of the deadliest marksman in the lower leagues. He’s bagged five goals in his past three games.
Harness, meanwhile, has also plundered five since being converted from a winger and being pushed into a central role.
There’s still plenty of the season to go but if they keep up their form then they’ll be in contention for the League One Golden Boot come May.
