The Fratton Park chairman remains hopeful the Blues can reach the Championship despite suffering a setback at Accrington

Danny Cowley’s side were held to a rollercoaster 3-3 draw at the Wham Stadium.

Pompey went into half-time trailing by two goals in what was a lacklustre opening 45 minutes.

However, the Blues would flip the game on its head through goals from John Marquis and Ryan Williams before the former’s acrobatic stoppage-time strike appeared to hand the visitors all three points.

Yet there’d be more late drama as Marquis helplessly scored an own goal to throw away the win.

Pompey have moved to sixth in the League One table although eighth-placed Charlton are two points adrift with a game in hand.

And he remains optimistic Pompey will still go up this season with two games remaining to seal a play-off spot.

Eisner wrote on Twitter: ‘Two matches to go. It ain’t over til it’s over. #Pompey.’

Pompey travel to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
