Twenty-one deals were completed last week alone, despite the introduction of salary cap in the division.
Of the 21 signings, five are calling Gillingham their new home as manager Steve Evans made his mark on the transfer wndow.

1. Jacob Mellis - Bolton to Gillingham (free)
The former Chelsea and England youth international became the Gills' third signing of the summer after he arrived at Priestfield on a free transfer. The 29-year-old made six appearances for Bolton last season after arriving in January.

2. Zech Medley - Arsenal to Gillingham (season-long loan)

3. Ronnie Edwards - Barnet to Peterborough (undisclosed)
The 17-year-old defender has signed a three-year-deal at Posh after impressing on trial.
4. Richie Smallwood - Blackburn to Hull (free)
