However, the Blues boss is hoping the ‘tweak’ suffered won’t be ‘too bad’ as he hailed the attacking-midfielder’s influence.
Jacobs, who earned rave reviews for his performance against Charlton in midweek, was once again named in the starting XI ahead of Ronan Curtis for the visit of the Pilgrims.

His replacement – Curtis – went on to inspire a Pompey comeback as the visitors raced into a 2-0 lead, before eventually being pegged back with three minutes on the clock.
It remains to be seen whether Jacobs will be available for Tuesday night’s visit of Swindon, when the Blues will be aiming to get back to winning ways at Fratton Park.
But Jackett is hopeful the early substitution will prevent he injury developing into a greater concern.

Hide AdSpeaking to BBC Radio Solent at the final whistle, the manager said: ‘He (Jacobs) just passed it (the ball) inside and felt his hamstring very slightly. Hopefully it’s not too bad, though.
‘I don’t think it is, but it’s just a tweak on the hamstring and he’s experienced enough to know he needed to come off.
‘So I hope he’s been able to stop it at source really.
‘Obviously, it’s a frustration as he’s a really good player and has a big impact on our side when he’s fully fit.’
Jacobs missed nearly two months of the season back in October after suffering a knee injury at Sunderland.
