But the left-back runs the risk of being booted out of his WhatsApp group should Pompey pull off an FA Cup giant-killing – as the admin is a Gooner.

Kenny Jackett’s men welcome the Premier League heavyweights to Fratton Park in the fifth round of the famous competition tomorrow night (7.45pm).

All eyes will be on PO4, with the game under the lights being broadcast live on BT Sport.

The FA Cup is Arsenal’s final opportunity to clinch a trophy this campaign, after being dumped out of the Europa League by Olympiacos on Thursday.

They also sit ninth in the top-flight.

Seddon’s a West Ham fan himself, but has plenty of friends who are Gunners followers.

He admitted they were ‘fuming’ after Mikael Arteta’s side crashed out of Europe in midweek.

And while the on-loan Birmingham ace knows they won’t be happy if Pompey pull off an upset, they’ll be pleased to see him do well.

Seddon said: ‘Arsenal are just above mid-table in the Premier League and now out of the Europa League, so it’s their last chance of silverware.

‘I’ve got mates who are Arsenal fans and they’re all fuming. In group chats, they’re fuming that Arsenal are out of the Europa League.

‘Now you’d think Arsenal will have a right good go at the FA Cup and the last thing they’ll want is to lose against Portsmouth on the back of that Olympiacos defeat.

‘We know that and they’ll know that. They’ll be right at it and we’ve got to be the same.

‘Half of my mates would love it if we win because they hate Arsenal.

‘The other half would feel bitter-sweet because they like to see me do well.

‘The admin of the group is a big Arsenal fan.

‘He texted me the other day and said he’ll be watching it with his family, so it’ll be good.’

Seddon took the opportunity to run the rule over Arsenal on Thursday night.

After Youssef El Arabi’s intervention in the final minute of extra-time sent the Gunners spinning out of the competition, the former AFC Wimbledon man is wary how hungry they’ll be to respond.

Seddon added: ‘I managed to watch the Olympiacos game. Me and the missus sat down, although I’m not too sure she was too happy about watching it!

‘She’s good with that, to be fair to her, and is used to watching a lot of football.

‘It was dramatic at the end with (Pierre-Emerick) Aubameyang’s goal and then Olympiacos going and scoring to win it.

‘They’re a big team. Martin Keown (who was a pundit for BT Sport) made a point about their set-piece defending, but they’re going to be right at it.

‘We can look forward to it but, at the end of the day, no-one enjoys getting beat.

‘We’ve got to do our best and do what we can to give them a right good game and see if we can compete with them.’
