Portsmouth strike new back-of-shirt sponsorship deal with TotalAV

That’s after the antivirus protection firm were announced as the Blues’ new back-of-short sponsor.

A two-year deal has been struck with the award-winning business, who fill the void left by Covers.

TotalAV CEO and Pompey fan Billy Thomas said having the firm’s name adorn the famous Blues shirt was something they had always aspired to.

He told the club website: ‘It’s always been something we've wanted to do, but never thought we would have the opportunity.

‘Where a number of us grew up as Pompey supporters, it really was a no-brainer when we heard about the vacancy.

‘We are really excited about the sponsorship and look forward to working closely with the club.’

Anna Mitchell, Pompey’s Chief Commercial Officer, added: ‘We are thrilled to welcome TotalAV on board as the club’s new back-of-shirt sponsor.

‘They are an innovative, forward-thinking business and, we feel, a great fit for Portsmouth Football Club.

‘It is a partnership that we feel will benefit both parties, as well as our passionate supporters, who will be able to benefit from a number of great offers over the next couple of years – and hopefully beyond.’
