Oxford struggling massive and have not won in 15 going into tonight’s game. That leaves them out of the bottom four on goal difference. The word is things have improved under Manning with four draws and a loss in the past five. Goals have been the problem for the side, after they allowed Matty Taylor to join Port Vale in January.
Ending with enthusiasm
With the play-off, in all probability dead, Pompey fans just need to see some football that they can get behind. Mousinho’s side actually unbeaten in seven but it’s those past three draws which have killed ambitions. Let’s just see some front-footed football tonight.

Just put my hat on, it’s the middle of April for god’s sake! A little bit of a chill with the breeze tonight but otherwise clear and pitch in good nick so no excuses on that front.
