Pompey continue their busy schedule with the visit of Oxford United to Fratton Park tonight.

The U’s clash marks the second of a quickfire triple header of home fixtures at PO4 for Danny Cowley’s side.

Memories of last month’s 3-2 defeat at the Kassam Stadium will be fresh in the mind, with controversy both on and off the pitch.

Ball drops to Thompson on the edge of the box and he lashes a rising shot not too far over the top.

Browne takes on Raggett in the box and beats the defender with ease before rifling the ball into the roof of the net. Raggett won’t be happy with how easily he was beaten there.

Old boys back in town

The popular Steve Seddon and Ryan Williams both start for Oxford tonight. Boss Karl Robinson has indicated he’s switching to a back three.

As you may have seen, Jed Wallace dropped into my Facebook Live tonight as is back to watch his old club. Seemed in good spirits, as ever. Also with Jed was Shaun Williams, who reported he recovering well from his fractured spine and certainly looked to be moving comfortably.
