Ronan Curtis earns a recall to Pompey’s side for the top-of-the-table clash with Hull.

The Irishman was on the bench for the midweek 4-0 win over AFC Wimbledon after recovering from coronavirus.

However, he has this afternoon been restored to Kenny Jackett’s team in place of Michael Jacobs, representing the sole change to that winning side.

Instead Jacobs drops to a bench which sees James Bolton added to it in place of Jordy Hiwula.

Should Pompey reach 71 minutes against the league leaders without conceding, they will establish a club record.

It would signify the longest period without letting in a league goal during the post-war era.

Meanwhile, Alex Bass (calf) and Paul Downing (hamstring) are still ruled out.

Pompey: MacGillivray, Johnson, Whatmough, Raggett, Brown, Harness, Naylor, Cannon, Curtis, Williams, Marquis.

Subs: Turnbull, Harrison, White, Close, Jacobs, Nicolaisen, Bolton.
