'The buzz is back... made Pompey tick' - Neil Allen's Portsmouth match ratings from Shrewsbury

The Blues looked in control of the game as they enjoyed a 2-0 half-time lead following goals from Marcus Harness (24 minutes) and John Marquis (35).

However, they were forced to put in a shift in the second half following Nathanael Ogbeta’s strike shortly after the break and then John Marquis receiving a straight red card with 22 minutes remaining on the clock.

Neverthless, they remained in control of the game, with Craig MacGillivray’s goal rarely tested as the Blues moved up to fifth in the standings.
