Gallen told how giving a response was foremost in their players mind, as they controlled the game against Michael Appleton’s side.
And the Blues’ No2 feels that determination to do so underlines a growing spirit in the squad.
Gallen said: ‘It was a frustrating result on Saturday and we wanted to put that right.
‘There’s a spirit growing among the players.

Hide Ad‘Lincoln have been playing well and are up there in terms of the league table, so to go up north to a tough place like this and get the win is pleasing.
‘There’s a camaraderie growing among the players and we can feel that.’
Rasmus Nicolaisen earned Gallen’s praise as he delivered an impressive showing, as he was handed his full league bow after arriving on loan from FC Midtjylland last month.
The Dane showed plenty of quality on the ball in a cool and calm display which caught the eye.
Gallen added: ‘He was excellent defending and heading.
