Wilder on Pompey's short list

U’s chairman Ian Lenagan revealed a request had been made by an unknown club, however, it us understood to be from the Blues.

Pompey are currently compiling a short list to fill the vacancy created by Guy Whittingham’s sacking on Monday.

It is believed Wilder’s name is on it – alongside former Crawley boss Richie Barker – as the Blues begin eyeing likely candidates for interview.
