Former Perfs Pedal winner shows pace in Dubai Tour
The ONE Pro Cycling star, who won the Portsmouth-based road race in 2012 and finished second last season, produced a fine finish as Marcel Kittel claimed glory from Mark Cavendish in Fujairah.
Reigning Perfs Pedal champion Yanto Barker and 2013 winner Marcin Bialoblocki were part of the team that delivered Opie to the finale.

With bonus seconds snapped up by Kittel & Co, Opie finds himself in eighth spot on general classification – 10 second behind the German from Etixx Quick-Step.
This season’s Perfs Pedal takes place on Sunday, February 14.
Meanwhile, former i-Team star Dani King crossed the line in 47th spot on the second stage of the Ladies’ Tour of Qatar.
