Lachlan Wellington shows his class with impressive Cardiff 10k debut
The City of Portsmouth racer was 15th in an event which included many top senior Great Britain internationals.
Wellington ran a very impressive 31min 48sec in Wales.
With more than 8,000 people taking part the Cardiff 10k is a great festival of running.

Hide AdDewi Griffiths won the race in 29.11 and the first six athletes were all under 30 minutes.
Wellington, 17, Â certainly showed his potential again after winning the Lakeside 5k race on Wednesday night in 15.18.Â
He managed his pace well in Cardiff and coach Vince Stamp was pleased to see the way he handled the occasion.
His coach said: '˜It was a learning curve for Lachie. He sat back in the opening kms and then picked up, moving through.
'˜Then it was a tough seventh km before his fastest km nine to 10 in 3m04sec.'
