Nelson breaks record as City sprinters impress
Sprinter Jacob Nelson has set a new City of Portsmouth under-17 club record time of 7.22sec for the 60m indoors.
His performance at the London Games in Lee Valley beat the previous record by Carter Clothier who posted 7.24 also at Lee Valley on January 6. Before that the mark was from Chris Jagoe (7.30) and had stood for 34 years.
