Lee-on-the-Solent provides ideal platform as Tony Ryan continues his Help for Heroes mission with Paris 10k training
He takes part in many big races in fancy dress to raise money for the British charity and will be heading out to France soon for the event in the capital there.
Lee-on-the-Solent parkrun provided a good training platform on Saturday morning.

Hide AdThe seafront event had 462 finishers with the volunteers ensuring everyone had fun and it was the 207th edition of the parkrun.
Peter Sansome finished in first position with a time of 17min 57sec. Angela Richardson was the first lady as she finished fourth overall in 18.40.
Paul Trott completed his century and was also a volunteer pacer on the day. Simon Tripp and Jenny Hearnden also did their 100th parkruns.
David Vine and Kirsty Shotts both joined the 50-milestone club.

Hide AdJosh Goldfinch led the way at Whiteley parkrun. The City of Portsmouth teenager was making his first trip to the parkrun and finished in a fast time of 17.39.
Nikki Roebuck was the first female finisher, while Charlotte Maisey completed her 100th parkrun.
At Fareham parkrun 316 people completed the 167th event.
James Hughes finished in first position and Emma Montiel was the first lady.
Nicky Thomas, of Portsmouth Joggers, continued her good form to get a new personal best of 21.32. Her previous fastest at Cams Hall Estate was 21.45 set in July 2018.
The 158th Portsmouth Lakeside parkrun had 299 finishers.
Lewis Banner was first with a new personal best of 16.53.

Hide AdKirsty Aked, of Denmead Striders, finished first lady after her excellent recent run to win the Southampton Marathon.
Dan Slayford led the way at Southsea parkrun with a time of 17.09 and Sophie Whittaker finished first lady in 19.46.
Harriet Burr had an excellent run to get a new personal best of 20.54. She’s in the junior 11-to-14 age group.
It was the 296th event and 442 people completed the course along the promenade.

Hide AdJames Baker finished first in the 365th Havant parkrun with a time of 16.29 as 283 people completed the course at Staunton Country Park.
Marjorie Huet-Martin finished first lady in 21.02.
At Queen Elizabeth parkrun Joshua Pewter finished in first position with a very quick time of 17.42 for the hilly, trail course. Frankie Howard was the first female, just six seconds outside her personal best with a time of 25.24.
