Becky Clay slotted her first into the net after a great run down the line from Ellie McMaster.

New player Megan Dossett led a good City attack, from which they were awarded their first penalty corner of the match.

Captain Katie Spooner slotted home for 3-0.

Haslemere got one back before McMaster restored the three-goal margin with a good solo strike after taking on the goalkeeper.

Clay got her second after the break and McMaster then pounced on a rebound off the post to double her tally as well.

Haslemere got a late consolation.
