Determined Havant are targeting revenge against Brighton

‘They stuffed us in the first meeting between the two of us and that was one of our poorest performances this season,’ said Knight.

‘I think some of our players feel they have a point to prove.

‘They are excited by the prospect of going out there and getting one over on Brighton.’

The home side are forced to make a couple of changes because of unavailability.

Ross Parkin is away with the Combined Services under-20 side and Joe Davis has work commitments.

It is not all bad news, though, because Steve Cruddas and Darren Bamford return.

United Services welcome Heathfield & Waldron to Burnaby Road in the third round of the RFU Senior Vase.

Services are in a confident mood, however, after they beat Eastleigh 20-19 to move out of the bottom three of London three south west.

With the Vase final held at Twickenham both teams will be keen to progress.

Gosport & Fareham have been given a boost in their bid to stay in London one south after the Rugby Football Union decided to punish Medway for player registration irregularities.

Fourth-placed Medway will be relegated at the end of the season and docked 25 points for the start of next season.

This means just two other clubs will be relegated and Gosport hold a nine-point gap above the bottom two.

The Blue & Golds are not in action this weekend.

Portsmouth are also without a game in London two south west.
