Knight knows that it won’t be easy, with the home side intent on exacting revenge.

‘We will have to reproduce the intensity shown in our first meeting,’ said Knight.

‘Chobham are a good side and we know that if we let them settle they can hurt us.

‘We will have to keep our concentration in defence and not fall off any tackles.

‘In the first game the whole squad raised the bar in their levels of performance.

‘We need to do that again and show a ferocity that will make it difficult for them.’

Portsmouth are looking to get back to winning ways in their London two south west derby at Andover.

After two defeats, coach Ben Dudley is keen for his team to get back to their best.

‘We have to keep things in perspective,’ said Dudley.

‘Our performance in the defeat by league leaders Cobham was decent.

‘That wasn’t the case against London Exiles last week when we had an off day.

‘We must look to improve on a number of aspects.

‘If we turn up and execute our game as well as we know we can, we should do okay.

‘This will be another tough test because Andover pushed Cobham all the way in their last game.’

In the forwards, Rob Giquel comes in for Darren Crabb, who has picked up a knock.

Cameron Dufus returns from injury to take over the fly-half berth, Tom Chance is in at centre, with Tom Whitehouse on the wing.

In Hampshire two, Southsea Nomads host Ventnor on their 3G pitch at Furze Lane (2.30pm).

Nomads are looking to reverse a heavy defeat suffered early in the season when they were forced to field a weakened outfit.
