Lee Bradbury lauded the character of Andreas Robinson after his Barnet heroics.

The Hawks midfielder came off the bench to net two long-range levellers at the Hive on Tuesday night.

His double earned the Westleigh Park outfit a share of the spoils in the National League contest.

And it came less than a month after he was hauled off on 30 minutes in the 4-0 thrashing at Bromley.

Bradbury reckons Robinson's character is symptomatic of the spirit running through his squad.

And the boss revealed his troops hailed the midfielder when he returned to the changing room after stinging the Bees in stoppage-time.

Bradbury said: '˜I am really pleased for Andreas Robinson. He has come through a tough time recently.

'˜I took him off after 30 minutes against Bromley but he has shown what terrific character he has by bouncing back in this fashion.

'˜The whole dressing room applauded him when he came in.'

Shaquile Coulthirst had twice given the Bees the lead '“ breaking the deadlock in only the 12th minute.

Hawks keeper Ben Dudzinski had to be at his best to prevent further damage before Robinson led the recovery.

The substitute equalised on 70 minutes only for Coulthirst to put Barnet back in front with 10 minutes remaining.

But Robinson had to the final word '“ curling a free-kick into the bottom corner in time added on.

The point followed hot on the heels of a superb draw at Ebbsfleet on Saturday, although the Hawks remain fourth from bottom in the table.

Bradbury added: '˜We showed again we have spirit in abundance and came away with another excellent point.

'˜We have given another fancied team a very good game.

'˜We had to dig deep again at times but our desire and work-rate was outstanding.

'˜There is a terrific never-say-die attitude in this squad.'

The Hawks hosts fifth-placed Solihull Moors at Westleigh Park on Saturday (3pm).
