Halloween arrived early as the whole day from start to finish was a nightmare for Dave Carter's side.

Traffic problems on the M4 led to a late arrival and a delayed kick-off.

Once the game started Moneys conceded twice in the opening 10 minutes to leave themselves chasing the game.

To complete their misery the visitors also had Tyler Giddins sent off in the second half.

Moneys manager Carter regarded it as a miserable day all round.

He said: '˜It was a day to forget for us.

'˜After setting off in good time for the long journey we spent over two hours at a complete standstill on the M4.

'˜There had been a crash which closed all the lanes.

'˜We were even able to have a kick about on the motorway.

'˜When we finally arrived at 3.20pm the referee allowed us 25 minutes to get changed and warm up.

'˜That is no way to prepare for an FA Trophy tie.

'˜I wasn't at all surprised to find us two goals behind early on.

'˜It was miserable weather, miserable travel and a miserable result.'

A mix-up between Giddins and goalkeeper Steve Mowthorpe gifted the hosts their opening goal.

Another defensive error soon afterwards led to a second goal.

After that once the visitors started to settle it took a string of outstanding saves from the home keeper to keep them out.

Cinderford stretched their lead after the break and then killed the game off with a contentious fourth goal from the penalty spot.

In that incident a frustrated Giddins was sent off for kicking out.

The home side added a final goal late on.

Boss Carter added: '˜We didn't play well and conceded some poor goals.

'˜Though the preparations were far from ideal we were also guilty of giving away some stupid goals.'

It is a match the Moneys players and manager will be looking to quickly put behind them.Â
