Warriors add more meetings to schedule

Wightlink Warriors have added four more home meetings to their 2018 schedule.

Two of those fixtures will include two rounds of the Vincent’s Motorcycles & Antiques Handicap at the Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium.

The event proved highly popular last year and they will take place on Thursday, July 12 and Tuesday, August 21.

The Warriors will also host clashes against Weymouth Wildcats on Thursday, May 17 and Great Britain Young Lions on Tuesday, August 7.

Meanwhile, Isle of Wight outfit’s fixture against Plymouth in the National Trophy had been rescheduled for Thursday, April 19.
