Madeline Wilton secured first place in the under-15 60m hurdles in 10.22, while Sophie Brame finished first in the under-13 200m with a time of 29.78.

In the under-17 age group, Bobbie Davies put in a solid performance in the 300m to record a time of 42.86, and Luke Younghusband clocked a time of 7.72 in the 60m.

Meanwhile, a total of 120 pole vaulters gathered at the Cardiff National Indoor Sports Arena.

Tom Farres, 18, was part of the elite group for the first time and he vaulted 4.46m.

Competing in Swindon, Serena Vincent, 14, won the under-15 shot with a new personal best of 12.74m.

That performance extended her lead at the top of the national rankings.

Kameron Duxbury, 14, also won the shot with 12.54m, to move to number one in the United Kingdom for the under-15 age group.

Veteran disability athlete Philip Gowers (F38) also performed well in the shot, discus and javelin.
