Heir of the Dog and Ben Goddard announced as final two headliners for the Icebreaker Festival

Icebreaker, the multi-venue music festival dedicated to unsigned acts from across the region, reveals the names of its final two headliners today.

Ben Goddard and The Sons of Indigo will be headlining The Edge of the Wedge while Heir of the Dog (pictured) will be headlining at The One Eyed Dog.

They join previously-announced headliners including Signals, Just Millie, Bimbo, Shoot The Duke and more, in the festival’s 12 venues across Albert Road and Elm Grove in Southsea.

There is still time too for local acts to apply to play in one of more than 100 slots available throughout the day.

Co-organiser Mike Hartley says: ‘We’ve already had nearly 700 acts apply, which is up on last year – but we always want to hear from more.

‘And we will listen to every single one that applies. It takes a while, but we do. We want to make sure everyone gets a chance to be heard and so we can put together the best possible line-up.’
