VISITORS to Charles Dickens' birthplace will be able to listen to a reading from the author's work at an event.

The Dickens Fellowship Birthplace Branch is holding the day at The Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum, on Sunday, May 7.

Geoff Christopher, secretary, said: ‘As well as being able to look around the house in which Charles Dickens was born, at 3pm visitors will be able to listen to a reading from the author’s work being read by a member of the Dickens Fellowship.’
