Here’s our pick of some of the family-friendly events, shows and arts and crafts workshops taking place over the coming week, with something to please all budgets.
First up is Professor Slug’s House of Bugs – a show all about bugs (pictured above). Professor Slug is an eccentric expert on invertebrates who helps bugs out with their buggy problems – and you can too! But can you help solve these problems before the Queen Bee arrives? This interactive show is packed full of colourful puppets, catchy songs, and educational info. It is at Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham on Saturday, February 18 at 2pm. ![Roll up, roll up, and join Mrs Blossom on Monday, February 13 from 1-3pm to craft and learn the skills you'd need to run away with the circus!
Crafts included will be making a set of juggling balls and learning how to juggle and making a Magic Wallet and learning the routine.
These are family sessions, so parents stay and get creative with their children.
Price is £15 per family (four people total, minimum one adult).

![To celebrate Artist Anna Bruder’s books Fun for Fingers and Finger Sports, she has created an exciting, free workshop perfect for everyone at The Spring Arts Centre, Havant on Saturday, February 18.
You are invited to play fantastic games, as well as to create your own finger puppets which you can take home at the end of the day.
It runs all day in the cafe and is suitable for children aged three and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Come and join in the quest to find out who the main suspects are, after everyone’s monthly pay at the Victorian garrison vanished, work out if their alibis are true or false and find the culprit.
Costumed characters will be on hand to help with clues, so our the super sleuths can find out what happened.
Entry to the museum is free, but space is limited, so must be prebooked online. The car park is £3.
