Chipper appreciates family and friends

Greetings my little Chipmonsters. I trust you've all had a good week? I hope you've been working hard since you went back to school.

In the past week at Dunyelping, my community celebrated and took part in our new day, the Dunyelping Apprecitation Day.

Me and the local residents came up with the idea of people in our town getting together and talking about and sharing the things we love and appreciate about our friends and family.

It’s no secret that sometimes we can take people and the things they do for us for granted – so by telling those same people just how grateful we really are for them, we can make them feel really good.

We each wrote down the things that we loved about a handful of people and shared them with the rest of the crowd.

I told everyone, including Brindley, that although we fight sometimes like best friends do, I’m lucky to have a partner in crime.

He is always there when I need him and I’m lucky that I have someone that I can go on the wildest adventures with.

Then I spoke about my family, I’m lucky that my mum always looks after me when I’m ill – and even when I’m not.

She also always gives me the best advice. All of my family do.

It was lovely for everyone to hear the things that people love about them. Do you need to tell someone how much you appreciate them? A little compliment goes a long way.

COMPETITION

One lucky Chipster has scooped the latest prize in my brilliant competition.

That’s right, you heard me, just one!

And the winner is... Jordon Gibbs (4098)

Congratualtions my friend, for you have won yourself a family ticket to Legoland.

I hope you have a wooftastic time.

Don’t forget this is your page so if you send me your work I’ll publish it here.

You can send me everything and anything – that means pictures, photos, stories, jokes, reviews and just about anything else you can think of.

As one of my very special Chipsters, you can see your name in print and get the chance to impress your fellow club members with the great things you send me.

If you’re not a Chipster yet what are you waiting for?
