Kicking Things off on the drum and bass front this weekend, Ransaked return to The Barn in Milton, alongside Lifestyle Music with Bristol based duo Ill Truth.

The pair have been gaining momentum within the drum and bass scene with their intelligent productions, featuring on Radio 1, Symmetry Recordings and even local label Context Audio. The line-up will also feature Energy, Nooch, Foreman, Archaea, Missledz, Subtext with host MC Kerizma. Tickets are £5 and it is from 9pm until 3am with more details at facebook.com.

However if house and garage is more your vibe, InDeep Music return with their brand new residency at Drift Bar in Palmerston Road. Following their successful residency at Huis, InDeep will launch a brand new monthly residency at Drift. DJs confirmed so far are Wesley Brown, Chris ‘Smoove C’ Agate, Jim Holland and DJ DB. Tomorrow evening, South Coast Emporium Bar in Elm Grove, present Gin Disco hosted by Gustavo Brothers. The evening will be a mix of classic 70s disco tracks all the way up to recent disco house anthems! A free gin and tonic is promised to those who arrive in ’70s fancy dress. Monday is a big night for Delight at The Astoria in Guildhall Walk as they present very special guests Shikari Sound System - an electronic music focused side project for Enter Shikari! Expect their crossover style to be reflected in their DJ set with a mixture of hard-rock, metal, dubstep and drum and bass! While their recent album The Spark leaned towards indie synth-pop territory, expect this DJ set to be a reflection of their harder electronic side. Room 2 will feature ‘80s neon murder pop with Watchdogs of Farron with support from Delight resident DJs.
