ITV thriller filmed at Hayling Island pub

The Inn on the Beach in Hayling Island was picked as a shooting location for the forthcoming series Innocent, which was recently given the green light by ITV.

Actors Lee Ingleby and Angel Coulby were confirmed to have filmed scenes during the shoot, which lasted about hours on Tuesday morning.

The cast of the new four-part thriller will be led by Hermione Norris.

ITV confirmed, however, that the Cold Feet star was not present for the filming at the bar on Hayling’s Sea Front.

A broadcast date is yet to be announced for the series, which will follow a man convicted of murdering his wife struggling to protest his innocence.
