Join punk legends The Damned as they get possessed by Evil Spirits
Punk legends The Damned will be playing a show next week that's been rescheduled from a date they were forced to pull back in February.
The band were forced to pull the original date on '˜doctor's orders' after frontman Dave Vanian became ill.
The rescheduled gig comes on the back of the group scoring their biggest ever chart success with their most recent album, Evil Spirits.
Released in April, it made it to number seven, becoming their first album to chart since 1986's Anything scraped into the top 40, and beating their previous high of 11 for 1985's Phantasmagoria.
Evil Spirits was funded by a successful crowdfunding campaign through the Pledgemusic site that saw them make four times their initial total. It was then recorded with veteran musician/producer Tony Visconti in New York.
It also saw them reunite with bassist Paul Gray, who played on the band's classic records, The Black Album and Strawberries.
