Licence granted to move Bestival to Dorset

A LICENCE has been granted to move a festival from the Isle of Wight to Dorset.

Bestival organiser Rob Da Bank tweeted to say they had been given the go-ahead for the move.

This year’s festival will be held at Lulworth Estate - the site of family festival Camp Bestival which is also organised by Portsmouth-born Rob Da Bank.

Bestival has been held at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle Of Wight since 2004, going on to win numerous awards and bringing big names to the Solent region.

Last year’s festival featured rapper Wiz Khalifa, Sean Paul and indie pop band Bastille; while previous headliners include Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg and Elton John.
