Scalextric racing fun day for all the family
A QUINTESSENTIALLY British toy created on our doorstep is being showcased at an arts centre.
There will be a fun-filled day of Scalextric at The Spring, in East Street, Havant. The toy was created in the town 60 years ago.
On October 2 there will be a gigantic Scalextric set to play on, racing games and the opportunity to view an exhibition exploring the history of Scalextric.
There will also be the chance to meet other Scalextric enthusiasts and talk to oral historians about any memories you may have of Scalextric in Havant.
