Greetings Chipsters everywhere. Well, if anyone deserves some much-needed rest this week, it's me.

I’ve been slaving away in the kitchen trying my best to bake some delicious cakes.

You see, my dear old friend James the Jack Russell is leaving Dunyelping this week. I’ve known him since I was a puppy.

He always makes the most delicious treats for everybody who lives in our street, so it was only right that on his departure, I attempted to return the favour.

Now I’m no chef, but I figured that with the right instuctions, tools and ingredients, and a little help from my feline friend Brindley, I could do a good job.

We started by searching the internet to find recipes that were worth barking about. Mum wasn’t too happy when she saw us with all the ingredients, but I promised her I wouldn’t make a mess.

Seven hours later and what had I done? Made a colossal mess. There was so much flour on the floor that Brindley and I could barely keep our paws on the ground without slipping and sliding.

But my friends, I had made some fantastic treats. From cupcakes to biscuits, to pastries, I’d done it all.

My masterpiece was the Bone Bananza, a huge banana bread cake with bones of all sorts inside, plus a banana-flavoured syrup in the centre.

James, whose coat was shinier than ever, was overwhelmed when he saw what I’d done, and we had a brilliant time talking and eating everything together!

He will be missed.

This week there are two lucky winners in my fabulous competition

They are:

Charlotte Green (3008) and

Martha Henderson (5082)
