Trust's pride after the Duchess of Cambridge unveils new sailing projects

LEADERS spoke of their pride after the Duchess of Cambridge unveiled new sailing initiatives.

Royal Kate launched the 1851 Trust’s 2016 sailing programme, on the same day she opened new facilities at Sir Ben Ainslie’s base. The Trust wants to give 3,000 young people the chance to sail. Sir Keith Mills, trust chairman, said: ‘We have a unique opportunity to use the thrill and excitement of the America’s Cup to inspire and excite young people, both to get involved in sailing and to understand the technology and innovation behind it.’
