George Lumsden, a part-time worker at the store, told The News how staff were amazed to receive a call at about 7pm last night to order the mass of fast food for the likes of Hollywood legends Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Hopkins.

He said a member of the film crew called to place the order, before turning up at the store in a large van with a pile of cash to pay.

George, 18, said: ‘Usually when we get a large order like that it’s usually a hoax so we just left it on the screen and didn’t make them.

‘The driver phoned up to say he was grabbing some cash but we still didn’t think it would be real.

‘He came in with the money at about half seven, and from then it was a mad rush to get them all done.’

Amazingly, even at peak time the staff managed to complete the order within half an hour, which included groups of 10 flavours.

The whole bill came to £1,400, although it seems even Hollywood legends like a bargain as with the branch’s buy-one-get-one-free deal the final bill was about £700.

George, a big self-confessed Transformers fan, said: ‘We were all really excited, a couple of people did not know who the actors were though.

‘My initial reaction though was what were we going to do because it was 80 pizzas. It was a very busy day for us.’

As for whether the crew left a tip though, George said he wasn’t aware of one being given for the order.

A manager at the store, in The Avenue, Alverstoke, confirmed a member of the film crew had come in to order for the team.

Ollie Urry said the experience had been ‘chaotic’ and ‘quite mad’.

The A-listers have been out in force at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Haslar Road for the last few days.

Stars including Hopkins have been spotted out speaking to fans and taking photos.
