The new site is the latest development in the company’s ambition to improve its offer to customers.

Mike Limburn, manager of the Portsmouth branch, said the website had come about after the firm conducted customer research.

He said: ‘We’re very proud of the site and that is why we have chosen to run our £250 giveaway, which will see customers who submit a quote online and order at branch automatically enter a draw for £250 credit to their account to spend on supplies at their local Gibbs & Dandy branch.’

The ‘£250 Giveaway’ promotion runs until March 31.
