Three companies up for business award finals

THREE companies have been announced as finalists for an award.

Dyer & Butler, R&M Electrical and Portsmouth Aviation were selected from more than 40 companies for BDO’s Central South Mid Market Company of the Year award. They were identified over the past year as being leading businesses in terms of international activity and profit growth. They were short-listed for meeting key criteria including nurturing talent, management strength and approach to new markets.

Malcolm Thixton, lead partner at BDO Southampton, said: ‘We make it our responsibility to support and nurture these companies who are contributing huge amounts to the local and UK economy. It’s a pleasure to recognise three such successful businesses in very different sectors and I look forward to revealing the winner in September.’
