The Milton Arms pub in Portsmouth closes as landlords move on

The Milton Arms, in Milton Road, shut its doors ‘for the last time’ last night, according to a post on the pub’s Facebook page.
The statement said: ‘It’s with a really heavy heart we have shut our doors last night for the last time.

Hide Ad‘(We) would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers old and new, our regulars, our football regulars and all the people who have held an event.
‘We have made friends for life here that’s for sure.
‘Unfortunately with the current situation it’s taken it’s toll and we can no longer do it.’
Landlords Colin Nash and his wife Jayne have run the Ei-owned pub since taking on the lease in 2016.
Last year, the couple supported homeless people during the ‘beast from the east’ snowstorm, offering those in need free shelter and food during the storm.

‘Good luck stay safe and see you all around.’
The landlords have been approached for comment.
