Youngsters had a great time making scarecrows to take home, ably helped by families, and face-painting in Loopy Loop’s Craft shack was superb.

The not-quite-so-young also enjoyed themselves with tea and a chat at our grow-your-own day for the over-60s festival.

Pop into central library to see our willow teepee, a floating library which we made for the Journeys Festival. It’s on all this week across the city.

If you can help with the garden or the orchard, pop in or call us on 07530 913 211.
