Have your say

SCORES of homes have been left without water this morning.

Some 70 properties in Bishop’s Waltham have been affected after a water main burst at about 8am.

Engineers are currently at the scene attempting to fix the issue.

However, a spokesman for Portsmouth Water said the repairs could take hours, with water likely to be off until at least 4pm.

Likewise, a number of homes in Titchfield have also been left without water in a seperate, unrelated incident.

Engineering crews from Southern Water, which supplies water to Titchfield, are understood to be attempting to the repair the leak.

However, there has been no statement by the company confirming how long the water will be off for.
