THREE teenagers have been arrested after charity tins and scratch cards were stolen from a newsagent.

The boys, 15, 16, and 18, were arrested on suspicion of burglary following a break-in at Moorhouse News, Meon Road, Milton.

Nearby members of the public reported the incident at 4am.

Shocked workers turning up to the shop were confronted with a smashed window this morning.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: ‘The incident was reported to police just before 4am this morning by members of the public after the front window of the store was smashed.

‘Small items were stolen from the store including lottery scratch cards and charity tins.

‘The three youths are currently being questioned by police.’
