Naomi House and Jacksplace, which treats children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across the south, organised the event with the Gazelle Squadron Display Team last weekend.

The helicopter dropped off the character who had chocolate eggs for the children before a second helicopter landed carrying more treats.

Keith Wilson, marketing manager at the hospices near Winchester, said: ‘The children we care for have life-threatening conditions. There is little we can do to change that.

‘What we can do is give those children magical memories and experiences that bring joy to the whole family. We are so grateful to the The Gazelle Squadron Display Team for making this possible.’
