Ambulance involved in crash while transporting patient to hospital

AN ambulance was involved in a collision in Chichester on Tuesday evening.

According to South East Coast Ambulance Service, the ambulance was transporting a patient to St Richard’s Hospital at the time of the crash.

The incident happened during rush hour at around 6pm on the A259 Bognor Road.

No one was reported to have been hurt following the collision, according to the ambulance service.

A spokesman said: ‘ There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.

‘Another ambulance crew attended the scene and the patient continued their journey in the second ambulance.’
